Abstract
Revisiting Wole Soyinka's dramatic output from 2000 onwards, this study offers a close linguistic and stylistic analysis of his later plays, arguing that Soyinka's dramatic language has evolved toward a more compressed, allusive mode that intensifies the ritual dimensions of his theatre.
