Abstract

Analysing a dataset of over five thousand social media posts from Nigerian political and ethnic discourse communities, this study identifies the rhetorical mechanisms through which hate speech is produced, amplified, and normalised in digital spaces, proposing a framework for counter-rhetorical intervention.
